Prezzo is my daughter’s favourite restaurant in Nottingham and so it is somewhere we choose to go reasonably often and having a tastecard makes it much more budget-friendly. It’s a popular modern Italian restaurant chain and is great for kids – the kids menu is a bargain and they have crayons and puzzles on the children’s menu.
The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for families, especially if you go earlier in the evening, although the Nottingham one does get busy especially on nicer days so it is worth booking in advance.
There is a large menu with lots of vegetarian and some vegan options, as well as gluten-free. The pizzas and pasta dishes are great, but they also have a range of burgers, salads and more. Ava pretty much always chooses the Carbonara and I love that or the Spaghetti with King Prawns. The chocolate ice cream is also the best we’ve ever had!

Pitcher & Piano is a beautiful venue in the heart of Nottingham, situated in The Lace Market. The restaurant and bar are in a stunning building that used to be a church, so there are high ceilings and gorgeous architecture throughout.
