WIN TWO TICKETS TO CHATSWORTH COUNTRY FAIR | A GIVEAWAY

Chatsworth House and Gardens are located in Derbyshire, in the heart of the Peak District National Park, and it is the perfect place with stunning surroundings for Chatsworth Country Fair – a yearly event over three days.

Chatsworth Country Fair is one of England’s most spectacular outdoor events and takes place this year on 30th and 31st August, and 1st September. Held in the Chatsworth Park in the heart of the Peak District, it attracts visitors from all over the country for a family fun day out.

Last year we had a wonderful day in the hot sunshine, at Chatsworth Country Fair. We had never been before, but there was so much to see and do in the beautiful surroundings of Chatsworth.

We have teamed up with Chatsworth and have x2 adult tickets to give away for a day of your choice to enjoy the non-stop action this summer.

Daredevil motocross riders, fierce Cossack warriors, the Poppy Parachute Team and Global Stars Aerobatics Display are all part of the action-packed programme at Chatsworth Country Fair this year.

Extreme action is on the cards from the UK’s leading motorcycle display team, the Bolddog Lings, appearing at the country fair for the first time. Not only have the team appeared in some of the largest shows in the world, but they have even featured in Marvel’s epic superhero film, Captain America.

The Ukrainian Cossacks Stunt Team are true masters of speed and agility, somersaulting and spinning under their horses’ while spurring each other on with shouts and yelps. The hardy Cossack warriors have achieved worldwide acclaim for their spectacular daredevil show and return to Chatsworth after thrilling crowds in 2015.

Other exciting attractions topping the bill include the return of breathtaking aerobatics from the Global Stars, falconry demonstrations and an unforgettable performance from one of the largest gatherings of massed pipe bands. Hot air balloon lifts at dawn and dusk will once again provide a majestic sight as they serenely glide across the Chatsworth Park.

One of my favourite parts of the day last year was seeing all of the hot air balloons set off into the air as the sun started to go down. It was wonderful seeing them all slowly move into the air, with the stunning backdrop of the river and fields beyond. They went right over our heads and we stood for a quite a while watching them all, and it was such a lovely way to end the day.

Live Demos in the Fine Food Village are headlined by Mary Berry CBE on the Friday this year, followed by British chef James Martin on Saturday and the fantastic duo The Hairy Bikers on Sunday, along with some of the region’s most talented chefs.

With a packed schedule of even more events and activities, Chatsworth Country Fair offers a fantastic experience for all the family. Tickets on the gate are £25 each day with children under 14 free. Two-day and three-day tickets are available online, as well as a discount of 10% per cent if you book before 26th August.
