Finding the right bra when you have bigger boobs that actually fits and still looks pretty can sometimes be a bit of a challenge.
I tend to, therefore, stick to pretty much the same style from the same place because I know that they fit me. So I’m always a bit wary of trying bras from different places because I have spent many hours over the years trying on loads of bras for far too long in a red-hot changing room and I just don’t have the time or patience for that anymore.
But, I do tend to know what kind of styles suit me now, what is likely to fit me well and give me the support and shape that I want, which makes it much easier when I’m ordering online.
Tutti Rouge make lingerie that is designed for curvy women. Their bras come in sizes 28-44 back and cups from D-J, and they have a big range of styles and fits. Before Tutti Rouge began in 2012 they were already experienced designers and manufacturers of edgy and sexy underwear for and on behalf of many well recognised and familiar global brands so they already knew what they were doing before starting their own brand.
They have a lot of expertise in larger bra sizes and the fit of a bra is really important to them, so their collections have hundreds of hours of development behind them and they say that only the very best, stylish and comfortable DD+ bras make it into their collection, so that us bigger-boobed girls can feel confident and stylish. It’s also really important to them that they keep improving, which is great, and I have read things in some of past reviews of their products which make me think they pay attention to them and improve upon their products constantly.
Tutti Rouge sent me a range of their bras, bralettes and knickers for me to try. I have the Sophia bra and high-waisted brief, the EZ-T bra in both black and bright blue, the Sarah Bra in Cherry, and the Taylor bralette.
The Sophia bra is my favourite that I was sent. It fits me the best out of all of them and it’s really pretty with the half lace and half plain cups. It’s pretty sexy but still really comfy and easy to wear on a day to day basis. The matching briefs are so pretty too and fit really well which I was surprised about; I often find that knickers come up really small and don’t cover my sizeable arse, which these do.
I really like the black bralette, it is nice and comfy and is really pretty with all the lace. It does come up a bit big on me in my usual size as it seems quite long in the straps, so it doesn’t offer loads of support and it would probably be better on me in a smaller size. It has padded cups which is unusual for a bralette, so I think it would be great if I had a better size. For me, it’s just one that I’ll wear at home but it’s perfect for that and I love still feeling like I’m wearing lovely underwear whilst lounging about at home in my comfy clothes!
The EZ-T bras are really nice and I love the bright blue. The cups are slightly small on me in my usual size at the moment, but my boobs do increase and decrease over a typical month, so I do find it good to have bras that fit me slightly differently. The blue bra fits me a bit better than the black version, which is slightly frustrating when it is the same style, but I do think I probably should have sized up with this brand (or I’ve got bigger boobs at the moment and haven’t realised!), but I know that for next time now.
The bras are all really good quality and they have really cute little details, such as the little heart adjusters on the straps which are really pretty. I also love the open strap detail on the back of the gorgeous red bra above. Tutti Rouge make really good bras – the bralettes are so pretty and I love that they have a bit of padding for some slight support – it means that you can comfortably wear them under tops and out and about, and still feel supported enough – I would just get a smaller size next time.
It’s great to have some more bras in my collection that are really comfy but look so pretty too, and it’s great to have found somewhere else online that I can order from. I think the prices are really good, and they have amazing sales prices when they are on as well.
