The Loungewear Edit: Comfy Tees Perfect for Staying at Home

16th June 2020

As I’m self-employed and work from home I pretty much always live in comfy loungewear – leggings and t-shirts and big baggy jumpers. With many of us still locked down and working from home I expect most of us are living in loungewear at the moment, so I thought I would share some of my favourite tees that are around online currently.

Even though I want to be comfortable and in basics at home, I am not really one to stay in my pyjamas all day (not that there’s anything wrong with it if you do!). I like to still be properly dressed in nice clothes, so I love t-shirts, leggings, and nice loose, comfy t-shirt dresses that still look decent if I have to go out (which is very rarely at the moment) or on the school run.

These t-shirts are all comfy, fun and reasonably priced, and some of them raise money for charities too.

Comfy Tees Perfect for Staying at Home

I love this ‘Stay Home‘ t-shirt from Femme Luxe. It’s oversized and I also sized up because I wanted it to be really big and comfy. Whilst it’s hot I would actually just wear it around the house on its own because it’s long enough to be like a t-shirt dress, and it would also make a great nightie.

The motif is obviously very appropriate right now, but I think it also works for afterwards too and will remind me of this time (not that I’m likely to forget!).

Next up is another black tee from Femme Luxe. This one is also oversized (although not as much) and it’s easy to just chuck on like the others.

This t-shirt from ASOS is another that I have got recently. It shows our support for our wonderful NHS during this tough time with a ‘Heroes’ print on the front and a blue heart on the back. 100% of the profits from every sale of these t-shirts are matched by ASOS and donated to Barnsley Hospital Charity and University College London Hospitals Charity UK. It’s a nice big, baggy one again (especially on my little model!!) and great for wearing about the house with leggings.

They also have this ‘Choose Our NHS‘ one as well as ‘Choose Our Carers‘, which also raise money for really important charities.

I do clearly love a slogan tee, so here is another one from Femme Luxe that I have with a ‘La Femme‘ print. I seem to veer towards black or white t-shirts with a phrase or logo on – I just seem to love a basic but fun t-shirt. This one does also come in white or a really lovely pink. This one isn’t as oversized as the others, so looks great with jeans (remember jeans??) or jogging bottoms and tucked in slightly or tied into a knot.

Have you been living in loungewear too? Or are you someone who needs to wear proper clothes and an actual bra every day?!

This is a paid partnership with Femme Luxe. See my full disclosure policy here.
