This year I have finally started to get into gardening for the first time ever, and whilst I still wouldn’t say I exactly enjoy it, I am managing to maintain the work I have done and feel quite proud of actually planting things that grow and making my garden look nice.
We also started feeding the birds a few months ago and I have a little stand that we put some food out on. It took a couple of weeks for them to come, but now we have some regular blackbirds and some others that now visit us regularly. Ava loves watching the birds come in our garden and talking about what they are as do I, and of course, it’s nice to look after our wildlife.

We were also recently sent this lovely Henry Bell Heritage Squirrel Proof Fat Ball Feeder to hang in our garden so that we can help to feed more of the birds around us without it all being stolen by greedy squirrels! The feeders are really good quality and made out of durable and hard-wearing aluminium and finished in the Henry Bell antique gold and bronze. It has a strong lid which is easy to lift to add the fat balls and 3 fat balls fit in at once. It looks really nice hanging in our garden and I’m looking forward to seeing the birds enjoying these balls!

There are 4 feeders. I would love one of them because the squirrels who come into my garden are very persistent and clever. They are always chewing through the bars of my feeders and rip the bottom off of my seed feeders.
