Fix up the garden:
Even though a garden is one of the biggest selling points of a house, it’s the one place that often gets neglected and overlooked the most, so if you’re looking to sell your house, then this is one area of the house that you should be focusing on sooner rather than later.
Everyone wants to hang out in the garden over the summer months. A garden with a deck is in high demand with homebuyers, so building a deck in your garden can increase the value and desirability of your home. Like everything else, fixing your garden can be cheap or expensive, but if you’re on a budget then it can be made to look great by adding some simple touches that really don’t cost a lot at all – and it’s always going to be cheaper than some of the major renovations that some houses require, such as fixing the roof, etc. You can also add in some nice furniture and accessories or even bird tables, so there’s really a lot you can do with a garden of any size to make it look great.

Adding some colour to any room with some paint is something that will always make an immediate impact. The great thing about paint is that it’s so accessible and affordable to everyone, so if you’re looking to create a fresh new look in time for selling, then painting is definitely one way to go about that. Even if you’ve never painted before, then you can find lots of tutorials and inspiration online and even offline by visiting homeware and hardware stores.
Declutter:
A cluttered place never feels good, but even less so when you’re trying to prepare for a move, so if you’re thinking of moving soon, then this is a great opportunity to get rid of any junk you have lying around that you no longer need or want. Not only will it give your place a fresh new energy that can be really appealing to people coming to visit and view the house, but it’s also going to make your move a whole lot less stressful.

Most often when people are getting ready to move they’re focused on the bigger things that need to be taken care of in terms of renovations and repairs, but more important and noticeable are actually the smaller details, so spend some time taking notes and fixing these.
