Biscuiteers: Hand-Iced Gifts for Every Occasion | A Review

5th August 2019

At the end of last month, it was my 35th birthday, and I was very kindly sent a beautiful tin of biscuits from Biscuiteers who have been making unique hand-iced biscuits in London since 2007.

This family-run brand began with a mission to offer a more unique, stylish and personalised gifting solution under the banner ‘why send flowers when you can send Biscuiteers?’. They decided to launch collections of beautifully iced biscuits in fabulous packaging, and since then have made books, have Icing Cafés and even a School of Icing!

I received the lovely Biscuiteers Vintage Birthday Luxe Biscuit Tin for my birthday and it is so pretty!

The tin that the hand-iced biscuits come in is super pretty and I’ll definitely be using it to keep something in when I’ve eaten them all! The biscuits inside all look amazing and make a super lovely birthday present.

Even more importantly, the biscuits taste really good too. I’m not always a fan of icing but these are so nice and way too moreish! My daughter seems to think they were a present for her rather than me and won’t stop asking for one – she thinks they’re really tasty too.

The Vintage Birthday Luxe Biscuit Tin that I was sent contains 12 hand-iced biscuits that are madagascan vanilla flavour – although I wouldn’t have known that – they just taste really good, and come in the keepsafe tin which keeps them nice and fresh for a long time. They have a really lovely crunch and a sweetness to them but are certainly not too sweet. They’re honestly so nice.

Biscuiteers make biscuits and packages for all different occasions, as well as bespoke orders. They make such a wide range of styles at a range of prices – I especially love the Beside the Seaside Biscuit Tin – it’s so cool, and the Cool for Cats Tin as well. They’re all so artistic and fun.

Every single biscuit is lovingly made from the start to finish – meaning each one is totally individual – and the recipe is based upon a traditional twice-baked English style biscuit. I love that they use old-fashioned production techniques still so that the quality is excellent and there is so much detail to them. They also deliver worldwide which is great.

Biscuiteers have partnered with Selfridges Food Hall since 2007, as well Harrods, The Conran Shop, Collette, Fortnum & Mason, Liberty and The Savoy. They also have been working with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity for 9 years, raising money through their dedicated range of biscuit designs inspired by the names of the wards at the hospital.

If you’re looking for a gift to send online to someone special then a tin of these beautiful biscuits from Biscuiteers is a really lovely thing to receive. They’re something you wouldn’t really treat yourself to but a great unusual present to receive from someone.

I received a tin of biscuits for my birthday from Biscuiteeers, but all words and opinions are my own. See my full disclosure policy here.
