I finally read an entire book without a huge gap in between! I read Dead Rich by G. W. Shaw (who writes crime novels under the name William Shaw) on holiday in Portugal and I really enjoyed it.
“An edge-of-the-seat thriller set in the blazing heat of the Caribbean”.
Predominantly set on a super yacht in the Caribbean, this was a perfect holiday read and I couldn’t put it down. There were some great twists and turns and it just felt a bit different to all of the thrillers I have read recently due to the location on a yacht in an exotic location and the mega-rich, Russian oligarch aspect.
It was easy to read and I was absorbed in it quickly and disappointed to discover that this is the first book of this type he has written, but I will look out for his next one.
