The issue with travelling in fall is that the weather is not always ideal, and getting back into daily activities after the break is over can be tough.

When fall hits in Vermont, it turns from a beautiful place with many mountains and springs directly into something out of a hallmark romantic comedy. This is a place you want to take your significant other to walk through the woods and look at the trees.
If you aren’t exactly down with the weather attached to these autumn months, but you need some time off from school or work, and you love the colours, and environment autumn brings Lost Maples, Texas is your spot.
Lost Maples is a perfect spot for hikes and picnics because the weather is still mild down south, but the environment is the same as if you were up north.
Most people think wine is made in California, but a lot of it is made in North East, Pennsylvania. There is a tour that this town does of all the wineries in the area, and wineries in the fall turn gorgeous. If you need a place to blow off some steam and relax, this festival might be the spot.
To summarize, if done properly, vacationing in the fall could be one of the best times you ever have. That being said, you have to search beneath the surface in finding a destination. The beautiful sights that you may see in the fall at a strange vacation location would be unforgettable.
Your typical vacation spots would still be fun in the fall, but going somewhere strange in a fall atmosphere could be an eye-opening experience. It would be a trip that you, or anyone else, would never forget.
