Tips and Pointers on Receiving Free Samples By Mail

13th April 2024

Giving away samples of their products is something that manufacturers do all the time. They want their latest products to be tried out so that it will be bought over and over again. They want their product to be liked more than their competitors’ products and they are aware that the only way you will be able to compare them is if you try them.

They are aware that you are not willing to spend your money on trying something that you might not like; they are, therefore, willing to reduce your risk. They, however, also want to save money. Manufacturers do not want to waste their money on sending out their latest products to just anyone; they want to send them to those who do want to try and use new things.

This is where we enter the picture. There is a special feeling that accompanies receiving boxes and a squishy package in the mail, breaking with the monotony of receiving junk mail and bills, knowing that you are receiving them free of cost and with no strings attached. As a consumer, you feel powerful; you do your best to get products that are high quality and top of the line, products that ordinarily may not fit your budget. These products also tend to be new on the market, so you are able to test out the latest products in the market.

All of the samples discussed here are free. To get them, you should not have to pay a single penny; you do not even have to cover the postage or shipping. Getting this stuff is really easy. All that you have to do is look for an offer and request that a sample be mailed to you. Generally, your name and address are all the information you have to provide; there are times, however, in which you may be asked a series of questions to make sure that you do qualify for the offer.

Once you have tested the product, you are even able to offer the manufacturer some feedback, that being said, it is not something you are required to do.

There are other manufacturers other than the ones we have listed that offer their special customers samples and coupons. If you have a brand you particularly like, you should visit their websites and see if they offer a mailing list. You can also look at the product’s label and call the 1-800 number and ask to be placed on the list.

Companies that Provide Free Samples

Inquire with your favourite department or grocery store and see if they provide these opportunities. Samples are provided by Costco; however, most of them are only available to Costco card members.

1. Procter and Gamble

A great number of products are manufactured by Procter and Gamble. You have to register on their site to receive sample offers and coupons of their new products.

2. Facebook

Facebook is a platform that many manufacturers use to give away coupons and samples. When someone “likes” their Facebook page, they are provided with the opportunity to print out a coupon or request a sample.

3. Free Sample Sites

Although you are able to go directly to the manufacturer’s site, it can be a large task to consistently visit the sites and see when something is being offered. There are quite a few sample sites that will handle that hard work for you; you are then notified when there are available free samples

All that has to be done is to visit the site that will gather all this information in a single place. Look for one located in your area or one that is large enough to be national; this is because there are deals that are only made available regionally. You can even subscribe to a blog feed or RSS; this information can then be received directly in your mailbox or blog reader. That being said, it is important to be careful when you are subscribing to these sites; you could be swamped with more mail than you will be able to handle. Look over the frequency of posts and decide what would be the best way to be informed.
