The New [yellow tail] Rosé Wine | A Review

If you know me at all then you will know that I love wine rather a lot. I drink it rather (too) often and I probably talk about it a bit too much as well. It is mentioned in my sidebar on here and on my social media profiles. It makes me happy, and I’m just better after a glass of wine (or several).

So when a wine brand contact me asking me if I would like to try their brand new rosé and also give some away to my followers, I of course say yes without a second thought.

The brand new (out this month!) rosé from [yellow tail] is described as being vibrant, refreshing and easy to drink, with a flavour of white peach, red cherries and strawberries.

I’ll be honest, I am not rosé’s biggest fan; I do really like it, but I am pretty fussy with them and much prefer the much lighter coloured and less tangy rosés. So I was interested to see what I would think about this new one.

The new [yellow tail] rosé is very light blush coloured and it’s a bit different to other rosés. I’m not going to pretend I’m a proper wine buff, and try and describe it for you, as I’m quite clearly not. I’m not going to describe its great legs or tell you that the subtle notes of peach offset the sharp tang of strawberries. Maybe they do but I wouldn’t have a clue. But what I can tell you is that it’s a really nice wine. It’s so easy to drink (aka we drank the bottle very quickly) and I really enjoyed it and wanted more. My second bottle would already be gone if I hadn’t had to wait to take pictures of it for this post, and I would definitely buy it again. I really liked it. It is fresh and tasty and very refreshing.

The [yellow tail] brand is a proper family-run company, based in the small country town of Yenda, in Australia, where their wine has been made by six generations of the Casella family. The family’s philosophy has always been to bring family and friends together at any occasion, which I love.

[yellow tail] was created as an approachable wine that everyone could enjoy, demonstrating that wine can be fun, easy to choose and drink, and easy to understand – exactly how I like my wine! I’m sure that applies to the majority of us too.
