Father’s Day Gift Ideas That Will Work for Most Men

25th May 2019

This year, in the UK, Father’s Day is on 19th June. So, I know that many of you will find this man’s gift ideas post to be useful. I have tried to come up with suggestions that should work regardless of how old your dad is.

Belts and other clothing accessories

Most men wear a belt, so if your dad’s has seen better days consider buying him a new one from somewhere like Jacamo. If your father does not wear a belt a new wallet, or maybe a tie pin or cufflinks are other items he is likely to enjoy receiving.

Sports-related gifts

If your dad likes sports, you will be spoilt for choice. The list of sports-related gifts you could buy him is almost endless. Items of clothing that feature the logo of his favourite team, tickets to a match or a sports TV package are just three ideas. If your dad plays a sport, you are even luckier because it opens up the chance for you to buy him equipment, clothing or pay for him to play a round of golf.

Something techy

Most men have a passion for all things tech. This opens up the chance for you to buy them an Amazon Echo, a smartwatch, an e-reader, a cover for their phone or something similar. Again, the list of possibilities is almost endless. Going to the tech section of a site like Amazon and looking at the best-sellers list is a great way to narrow down the options. The chances are if lots of other people have wanted to own a certain item, your dad will want one too.

Special days out

Giving your dad the chance to experience something new is another option. There are hundreds of experience related gifts you could treat him to. It could be a helicopter ride over the local area, tickets to a show, art gallery, exhibition or museum. If you can join him so he does not need to worry about driving and parking he will probably like his gift even more.

Something hobby related

If your dad has a hobby or pastime that he enjoys a gift that is related to that is likely to bring a smile to his face. It could be a woodworking class or a special tool he has been wanting for ages. Just remember to keep the receipt if you buy the tool. That way, if it is the new chisel you bought him is not quite right, your dad can exchange it for the one he prefers.

More gift ideas

If you would like a few more ideas, you can find some here in my 2018 Christmas gifts post. Many of the additional ideas you will find there will work equally as well for Father’s Day.

This is a collaborative post.
