I have wanted a big, squishy beanbag in my house for forever. My family had one of those massive ones that you can lay your entire body on years ago and I have been desperate for one ever since.
So I was very excited when Beanbag Bazaar got in touch with me to review one of their faux fur beanbags as well as to run a giveaway so you can win one too!
We have been sent the ICON® Hacienda Faux Fur XL Bean Bag, in Rose Dust Pink, and when I actually manage to kick my daughter off it and collapse my tired self onto it, it is sooo lovely and comfy and I don’t want to move. Luckily I am barely able to get off it once I’m on so I can stay there for a long while.
It’s a really good quality bean bag, and even though it has been thrown around and sat on a lot since we’ve had it, it is still looking as good as new. It’s big enough that it is comfortable for an adult to sit on, without being so big that it takes over the entire room. We don’t have tons of space in our lounge but I am perfectly happy for it to live in there, and it gets used a lot. Although my daughter would steal it for her bedroom if I let her, and it would look nice in there too. It adds a lovely cosiness to our lounge and I love it.
When you sit on it, it creates a high back that warms to the shape of your body, supporting you and stopping you from wanting to get up. I love it for snuggling up and reading a good book on. It’s so soft and comforting and I really like it for lying about on the floor and playing with Ava rather than me sitting right on the floor — which isn’t so comfortable at my old age! The bean bag is really light, despite being so big, so you can move it about really easily, and it has a faux suede base which protects its lovely bottom.
The one I have is a lovely blush pink colour, inspired by haciendas found in Mexico. It’s a lovely soft colour that goes with pretty much everything but it comes in other neutral colours too. Bean Bag Bazaars faux fur bean bags are handmade in Britain and they offer free next day delivery if you order before 1 pm which is always a bonus. At first they might seem quite expensive for a bean bag, but they are excellent quality and they are literally adding another piece of seating to your room and are likely to get used a lot. They’re particularly great for kids as they can be moved around easily and are soft and comfy for them to lay about on, and these faux fur ones look lovely in any room. My nephews actually both got a smaller version from Bean Bag Bazaar from Christmas, and they love them too.

Arctic Wolf would be my first choice of colour but must confess if I had a huge amount of space I’d have a few of these. I’d like to think I’d get to snuggle on the bean bag to read if lucky enough to win one, but of our two cats I suspect our fluffy girl would quickly try and adopt it as her new napping spot! I quite like the idea of having a nice row of these bean bags with the Arctic Wolf, Bavarian Wolf, Cream, Mongolian & Snow Leopard ones.
