32 Things I’ve Learnt in 32 Years
I am now the grand old age of 32. So obviously in those many, many years I have been here on planet earth I have accumulated a lot of knowledge – some of it useful, most of it not. So I thought I would share some of that incredible wisdom with you here today. You’re welcome.

32 things I’ve learnt in 32 years
- People can be dicks. You don’t know what anyone’s going through in life so give them the benefit of the doubt – but some people are just dicks – forget about them and move on.
- Drinking lots of water really does make a difference.
- What other people think of you is none of your business.
- You can never have too much cheese.
- There’s no point in worrying but we’ll still do it anyway.
- Love is the best thing in the world. After cheese.
- Exercising will make you feel better and give you more confidence, and it is possible to start to enjoy it.
- Friends and family are the most important thing in the world. Hold on tight to those you love and never let them go.
- The right eyelash curlers and mascara make a world of difference.
- It’s bloody hard to forgive yourself for something.
- Travelling will be harder than you imagine but completely worth it.
- Everyone bitches about other people sometimes. Even the people who claim they would never do such a thing.
- Sometimes you need to take the medication.
- Not everyone has to like you. I still struggle with this sometimes, but I know some (stupid) people won’t like me, and that’s ok.
- People who use your and you’re wrong will always annoy me. You’re equals you are.
- Jealousy is ugly, so I will probably always be ugly.
- Our noses never stop growing (I know – terrifying).
- Feeding bread to ducks is actually harmful to them.
- It’s ok to be an emotional person, however bad anyone else makes you feel about it.
- It’s never too late.
- Getting enough sleep changes everything.
- The numbers on the dial of a toaster are minutes.
- Figs + Goats cheese + Prosciutto is amazing.
- Getting older is a good thing. Some people don’t get the privilege.
- Some people will never be happy. You can’t change that.
- Getting a cordless vacuum cleaner will change your life.
- A collective of Pandas is called an Embarrassment, and a group of Flamingos is called a Flamboyance.
- Sometimes my blog posts are shit.
- In Florida it is illegal to sing in a public place in your swimming costume.
- Women are actually pregnant for ten months, not nine.
- Cockroaches can move bloody fast, and they are bloody hard to kill.
- Life is short.
Don’t you feel much cleverer now??

Love this list! So with you on 15 and never knew 22 – that’s changed my life, well my mornings anyway!
We learnt all the same things in the same 32 years. I often part my wisdom on those that need it. The toaster number is a fav of mine. And no 3… yep! x
