Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! It’s been a crazy year and I know so many of us aren’t getting to spend it how we want to or with the people we want to be with. I hope whatever you have planned you get to enjoy it and at least relax a bit and have a day off.

I’m lucky enough to be able to spend the day with some of my family and I’m really grateful for that. Ava’s really excited and I can’t wait to see her face on Christmas morning and watch her open her presents. But I know how lucky we are right now and I’m thinking of those who can’t see their families this Christmas and those who will be spending it alone too; my Dad is one of those people and I hate it but I know it’s the right thing.

Hopefully next year things will be better and life will be somewhat more normal.

If you’re celebrating then I hope you enjoy too much chocolate and pigs in blankets (quite possibly in that order) and Baileys and cheese and turkey and that you have a lovely day.

I’ll be taking a little break over Christmas and New Year to enjoy some time with my family as well as celebrating my daughter’s 9th birthday at the beginning of January.
